Membership Qualifications We welcome applications to join Protect New York. Academic applicants should be part-time, full-time, or emeritus faculty members from an accredited college or university in the United States. Applicants should write a short explanation of their relevant background and accomplishments or research and teaching interests. Professional applicants should be involved part-time or full-time in emergency management, homeland security, disaster planning, business continuity, emergency or disaster medicine, or closely related field. Please write a short explanation of your background and duties. Please be aware that in applying to join you are expressing an interest in the roles of research and education in your field. Student applicants should be full- or part-time graduate or undergraduate college students. Please write a short description of your interests. Please state your major and year of study. Other applicants may include elected officials, public administrators, interested citizens, and journalists. Please give a brief explanation of your background and interests. The Board will consider applicants on a one-by-one basis. Non-US applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Board. |
